Grateful for Home

I am grateful for the lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and floors that need waxing because it means I have a HOME.
Grateful for Home

This is a good reminder to me that I don’t need a lot of ‘things’ to be grateful. Especially, when I look out there in the world where many people are homeless.

With today’s extra dump of snow, it was a nice reminder to read this once again.

Grateful Heart

Start each day with a grateful heart.
Grateful Heart

I cannot emphasis this even more. With a grateful heart, fear subsides and abundance appears. Right away in the morning, you will start attracting the right kind of people that will help you continue to have a great day.

It brings so much peace in your life when you start the day appreciating everything that is in it.

Grateful for Struggle

I am grateful for my struggle, because without it, I wouldn't have stumbled across my strength. - Alex Elle
Grateful for Struggle

This gratitude post is very similar to the one that I just posted.

Not only does having struggles make you stronger, but they may also be there to have you avoid even stronger struggles or teach you a lesson and push you in the direction you are meant to go.

Grateful for Problems

I am grateful for all of my problems. After each one was overcome, I became stronger and more able to meet those that were still to come. I grew in all my difficulties. - James Penney
Grateful for Problems

“It’s easy to be grateful for the good things in your life but if you can be grateful for all of the bad times and hardships then you will be a master.” -me

Realize that God or the Universe has a plan for you and that things turn out the way they do to teach us a lesson, avoid something much worse, and/or make us stronger.

Vibration of Gratitude

The vibration of gratitude attracts more positive things into your life. - From 'Divine You' by Cherie Roe Dirksen
Vibration of Gratitude

Here is another quote about gratitude showing you how it helps bring peace and improve your life.

Just being grateful makes you thankful for the things in your life.  Like attracts like. Having a positive attitude will attract positive people and things in your life.

Having a grumpy attitude will push them away.

Gratitude

Gratitude. It's not happiness that brings us gratitude. It's gratitude that brings us happiness.
Gratitude

This quote is similar to the one that I just posted about happiness and gratefulness.

That quote says, “It is not happy people that are grateful. It is grateful people who are happy.”

If you are grateful, you cannot help but be happy.

Happiness and Gratefulness

It is not happy people who are grateful; it is grateful people who are happy.
Happiness and Gratefulness

This quote puts a nice twist on things. Just like the quote, “There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.”

The chicken or the egg? Why are people happy? Because they are grateful!

I am grateful for…

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.
I am grateful for…

Too many times in life we take things for granted that are actually very important in our lives and once it is gone we wished we paid more attention to it.

When driving down the road be grateful that our taxes take care of the roads for us. Be grateful for our liver cleaning out our system. Be grateful for your parents because one day they will be gone and you’ll wish that you talked to them more to gain more insight.

Discovering Peace

Looking behind, I am filled with gratitude, looking forward, I am filled with vision, looking upwards I am filled with strength, looking within, I discover peace. - Quero Apache Prayer
Discovering Peace

This Apache Prayer is a real inspiration and like other posts, it relates to ‘thinking the right’ way to get what you want out of life.

In the past look at only the gratitude and clear your mind of the clutter that brings you down.

When looking ahead think about getting excited about what could happen instead of fearful of what could go wrong.

Look within yourself or upward to find the strength and guidance that you need to help you move forward.

This prayer is so true, you can find peace if you live your life like this instead of thinking of things that will lead you away from it.

Art of Acceptance

"The art of acceptance is the art of making someone who has just done you a small favor wish that he might have done you a great one." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
Art of Acceptance

Martin Luther King Jr. had a checkered past but he was able to inspire many people with his speeches that helped make a movement for a better tomorrow.

Once you show enough gratitude through your acceptance it will strive to make the other person be a better person.

Wouldn’t we want this for everyone? Let’s all help a better tomorrow and motivate others to be a better person by making them wish they did a better favor for you. In turn, most of them will do the same thing with someone else. Let’s make this contagious!
