I remember one time my father saw a bird carrying a french fry in his beak. He smiled and got enjoyment from this little incident.
Was he easily amused? Did he have a genuine interest in the details of life? Was it both?
This also reminds me of the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off when he says, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
If you just stop and look around at the details of everything around you. You will begin to see the beauty of all of the miracles around you. You will also become grateful for every little thing in life and I can guarantee you that if you do that you will be a happier person. That is why I take walks outdoors when I need to destress.
