This quote by Thomas Troward was quoted by Wayne Dyer from his DVD series makes an interesting point. It talks about how all of us are connected along with our environment. Environorganism is the word that Wayne Dyer made up to define this I believe. So if we are all connected in this way it means that what we want is here already and that we have the power to obtain it. By following this piece of advice it was meant to help manifesting things in your life.
Connecting to Source

This is a quote from the Wayne Dyer Video that I purchased from Hay House called, “The Forever Wisdom of Wayne Dyer“.
If you feel that you are not connected to God or the Universe or whatever you want to call it to realize that you indeed are connected along with everything else. Once you realize that you are connected to your source you realize what you want is already there and you can bring it to you easier.
Serving Abundance

This quote by Wayne Dyer I have read several times in his books.
It is really true. What you put out in the universe will come back to you. If you put out negativity and anger out in the world you will either create or attract negative angry people into your life.
If you are happy and smile at someone you will create and attract happy people into your life.
After all how many happy people avoid angry negative people? It makes sense, doesn’t it?
These explanations make common sense, but on a deeper level, if you give an air of giving to the universe, the universe will give back to you. How does this work scientifically? Do human emotions play a factor in what you attract in your life? Does it really matter?
Sorcerers

This is a quote from the Wayne Dyer Video that I purchased from Hay House. I could not remember which one though. He displayed a quote from Carlos Castaneda, another author that I love reading.
This is a pretty deep quote. Sorcerers mean ‘of the source’ as Wayne Dyer has often said. Not the mystical beings that movies make them out to be. Although good real-life sorcerors can do things that are pretty amazing and only what you would think you would see in movies. Let’s take this quote bit by bit.
“Sorcerers are not only concerned with understanding and explaining that connecting link…”
Sorcerers that are right-brained or need proof will want to understand that connecting link to bring sanity to their lives and not think that they are losing their mind when they start having things materialize in front of them, or the phone rings when they were thinking of someone, or have an out-of-body experience. Explaining to people about it helps bring openness and awareness to the world that will, in the long run, promote more peace.
“…but they are especially concerned with cleansing it (the link) of the numbing effects brought about by all of the concerns of living at ordinary levels of consciousness.”
When living ordinary levels of consciousness people do not explore their higher consciousness and avoid becoming more enlightened beings that raise consciousness worldwide, which will bring worldwide peace in the future.
The end is the means in this case but the journey to get there is very important.
Stress-Free Tranquil Life

This quote from Wayne Dyer comes naturally for some people and for some people, it is easy to say but hard to do. The truth is that it is as hard as you think it is. So think, believe, and turn it into a conviction that it is not hard to do at all.
But to make things easier there are many things that you can do.
- Keep everything organized so you know where everything is so that you don’t drive yourself crazy trying to find it later.
- If your work phone ringing brings shudders down your spine then change the ringtone of it and you will find that it won’t anymore. You conditioned your body to react to that ring tone then after it becomes conditioned to the new ring tone change it to another one.
- Avoid drama and stop hanging around people whose lives are full of drama unless you are the kind, nurturing soul that wants to help them.
- Sync your calendar appointments to the cloud, your mobile devices, and your laptop devices. This will help ensure that there are no missed appointments or reminders that will bring havoc to your day.
- Take time out to meditate every day.
- Take time out to be in silence every day.
- Walk outdoors. Walking in nature helps me to become more grounded and at peace with myself.
- Maintain a healthy balance of work, family, and you-time.
- Whenever someone tries to get you upset remember that they own that and you don’t have to allow it inside of yourself.
- Apply acceptance and understanding of every situation you come across and you will view things in a different less stressful light.
Super Glue Your Intention

This is another quote from Wayne Dyer‘s CD program “The Forever Wisdom of Dr. Wayne Dyer“.
This part of the CD program goes over how you can make your intention (what you want in life) appear in your life. How you think about it, actions to do, etc. I bought the CD program from Hayhouse but I can only listen to it by logging into their site and would rather have bought it outright.d But the link I provided is for buying it outright from someone else on eBay.
This little quote is a nice little reminder for me to never give up on my dreams.
9 Things to give up if you want to be happy

Here is a favorite list that I like to meditate on. It is a list that will help you live a happier life. If you give up on these nine things you will have a more peaceful life and bring more peace to the people around you.
You can spend a meditation session for one day on each of these on the list.
- The Need for Approval. If you are looking for approval outside of yourself you will never be happy. Just think about it one thing that you did will be approved by one person but not the next. “What other people think of you is none of your business.” If you feel what you did aligns with your spiritual self then that should be enough. You will never find the correct approval from outside of yourself. If you try to get approval from other people to make them happy you will never be happy yourself.
- The Need to Impress Others. Why do people do this? Most of the time people do this because they do not think too much of themselves and have low self-esteem so they want to take the easy way out and get quick recognition from others to make themselves feel better. The only trouble with this is that recognition does not last long and does not really solve the problem. You would really need to become a person that naturally impresses other people and you will find that when you are you will have no desire to impress others and are whole/complete inside.
- The Need to Always be Right. Wayne Dyer has said, “Would you rather be right or at peace?” One time I remember in high school I have gotten into a big argument with someone over the lyrics of a song. I started jotting them down and another student recognized the lyrics and said he liked that song but corrected me on what the lyrics were. But I was 100% positive what I wrote down was right, he was 100% right that his lyrics were right and what started out as a bonding experience turned into a heated argument that left bad feelings on both sides. Was it worth it to be right? I don’t think so.
- Dwelling on the Past. This is a bad one for me. Some people can handle it better than others though. Really, it happened in the past. It is done with, nothing can be done anymore about it except learn from it and move on. Read the Time and Money Quote to help you conquer this inner demon.
- Resistance to Change. When I read of this one I immediately thought of the book “Who moved my cheese?” by Spencer Johnson. One instance in this book a group of people were discussing their lives and one shared a story of the encyclopedia business his family was in where they were resisting change from paper to CDs and because of that they almost went out of business. Unfortunately, resistance to change is a common human reaction. This book has a duel story of two mice named Hem and Haw that go through the maze with their reactions to blocks along the way. The other part of the book is a group of people discussing the book and how it compares to their own lives. An excellent read to help you get rid of stumbling blocks.
- Negative Self-Talk. Why! Why fill yourself with negativity! Garbage in is garbage out. People do this on a constant basis and never feel fulfilled in life! Worse yet there are many people that do this out loud and are looking for self-pity.
- Limiting Beliefs. This reminds me of the quote from Michelangelo, “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” If you have limiting beliefs you can never achieve personal greatness. Do not think poorly of yourself but instead think of all the things you would be proud of what you have done, what you are capable of and you will get rid of your limiting self-beliefs. Focus is the key here.
- Blaming Others. Blaming others is a classic shift of responsibility. All this will do is keep you from fixing yourself and create anger and negativity with those around you. Especially the one that you blame. If you cannot accept responsibility and look inward you will live an unbalanced life and never take care of the true source of the problem.
- Complaining. Yes, you may want to vent to someone and complain to them and hope that you will find someone that is a good listener. In a Barbera De Angelis tape program about relationships the mistake men make when a woman comes to them with a problem is that they try to give suggestions on how to fix their question but all the woman really wants is somebody to listen to. They are not seeking answers. Yes, you may want reassurance and that will help you but sometimes complaining can become more strong than what it should be. Instead of complaining try thinking of what is good about this situation? It will help you focus on the positive and eventually help you solve the problem. Too many times people complain to others without looking within and realizing how minor it really is in the grand scheme of things. This inner-awareness will help you tremendously.
Think from the End

Think from the End. I heard Wayne Dyer say these words from “The Forever Wisdom of Wayne Dyer” CD Set.
He described by making a book cover and wrapping it around another book to display that the book he is writing is already in front of him and done. This helped him to write his books. It is a good idea to think from the end. It helps keep the focus on the goals that you want. You will find that you will more likely to reach your goal imagining what life will be like when you achieve it compared to imagining how much work it is going to be to get there or even worse thinking of ways on how you think this can’t be done! I have met several people with that mindset and needless to say the people that have this mindset are not happy with their lives and never achieved what they wanted in life.
Think about it this way. If you ever do a maze puzzle try solving it from the end and going to the start. It is much easier and faster that way. You can even use this method to race someone else doing a maze puzzle and you will beat them every time.
When you are having particular bad days think from the end to help you keep on track.
Who Owns the Upset?

I know this Wayne Dyer quote is much easier said than done but it is worth the practice to make it an easy thing to do. This is very similar to the Buddha story I have heard.
The Story of the Angry Young Man and The Buddha
It is said that one day the Buddha was sitting and meditating when a very angry and rude young man came up and began insulting him, saying all kinds of rude words to try and get the Buddha upset.
The Buddha was not upset by these insults and waited until he was finished then asked the young man, “Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?”
The young man was surprised to be asked such a strange question and answered, “It would belong to me because I bought the gift.”
The Buddha smiled and said, “That is correct. And it is exactly the same as your anger. If you become angry with me and I do not get insulted (accept the gift), then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself.”
If you can master this you will find a much more peaceful life and not only that you will bring peace and calm people down around you just by being in their presence.
What You Allow Inside

This is one of my favorite Wayne Dyer quotes. For me, it was very hard to do. Too many times in grade school and high school where someone would tease me, say bad things about my mom, etc. to get a rise out of me I would take that to heart (let it inside of me) and they would enjoy the turmoil that it caused.
My dad always would say just let it roll off of me, but it was too difficult at the time to do that and I admired how he was able to not let things bother me. He never realized how much abuse that I did take in high school. One time while fishing he noticed someone giving me a hard time and he asked why I could take it. My response was that it was nothing compared to what I took in school.
Needless to say, I got into a lot of fights while in school, even in college. I had wish I read, learned, and meditated upon this quote when I was very young. It could have saved me a lot of hurt feelings. There was someone named Seth in school that never (almost never, I remember only one time but he recovered quickly) let things like him bother him. In return, the abusers did not bother him because of what they did, did not bother him. He didn’t let it inside as the quote said. (There is a big difference between not letting it inside and burying it. Remember that! Burying is only a temporary solution that explodes later.) and he was at more peace in his life.
This reminds me of an old Buddha story where someone tried to get the Buddha’s goat by cutting him down and trying to get him angry. Buddha waited until he was finished and asked if he could ask him a question. When he said yes Buddha asked him if someone were to give you a gift and you don’t accept it, who does the gift belong too? This made the guy think and he left without saying another word. I’m sure that Wayne heard of this story and came up with this quote.
