This is a quote from the Wayne Dyer Video that I purchased from Hay House. I could not remember which one though. He displayed a quote from Carlos Castaneda, another author that I love reading.
This is a pretty deep quote. Sorcerers mean ‘of the source’ as Wayne Dyer has often said. Not the mystical beings that movies make them out to be. Although good real-life sorcerors can do things that are pretty amazing and only what you would think you would see in movies. Let’s take this quote bit by bit.
“Sorcerers are not only concerned with understanding and explaining that connecting link…”
Sorcerers that are right-brained or need proof will want to understand that connecting link to bring sanity to their lives and not think that they are losing their mind when they start having things materialize in front of them, or the phone rings when they were thinking of someone, or have an out-of-body experience. Explaining to people about it helps bring openness and awareness to the world that will, in the long run, promote more peace.
“…but they are especially concerned with cleansing it (the link) of the numbing effects brought about by all of the concerns of living at ordinary levels of consciousness.”
When living ordinary levels of consciousness people do not explore their higher consciousness and avoid becoming more enlightened beings that raise consciousness worldwide, which will bring worldwide peace in the future.
The end is the means in this case but the journey to get there is very important.
