Reading this quote reminds me of the word acceptance and there are many other posts here that relay to enjoying life more if you have more acceptance in your life.
Also, if things did not turn out as you expected them to then trust in the universe that it is unfolding as it should. Missing that bus may have avoided you from getting killed in an accident. That glue you tried to invent to never break free but turned into a failure? It has done it so that you can get rich by applying it paper and making Stick-It notes.
What if you don’t see the reason why things happened the way they did? Then accept it and move on if nothing can be done. If something can be done then do it.
